We have a Family Motto.
I, of course, chose the motto. I figure my kids will latch on to it eventually. Their motto choice would probably be something a little more like this:

We don’t have a motto, but we have a family rule: we don’t get in to fights on the internet. It’s not as profound as yours, but it’s stopped us on more than one occasion.

Love your motto! And, am laughing because just last night while cajoling my 6 yr old through dinner, she started chanting: “G-d is the boss of me, you’re not the boss of me…”
